2nd, Seagate provided express shipping BOTH WAYS within seconds of my online application.

3rd, all of my questions were answered within email within 10 minutes of asking.

4th, Josh emailed me directly and followed up with a telephone call to quote me on the data recovery.

5th, we were provided with a simple to access compressed file of a list of all data available for recovery. In digital format, SO simple to relay to our clients.

6th, the invoice and instructions were very clear and delivered quickly via email, enabling us to communicate with our accounting and managers for immediate turn around.

7th, we didn’t have to pay for a quote.

8th, we are to receive the data recovered on an external harddrive, with a Seagate warranty!

9th, we are able to claim a warranty claim from our manufacturer even after the data recovery!

I had lost my hard drive before our move to our new house in July of 2007. I had other things to attend to and sort of forgot about the hard drive. Three months later (when I had time) I took the crashed hard drive to Drive Savers in Novato, CA. They didn't promise me anything but two days later they told me they couldn't deliver either.

I wasn't satisfied and talked to a friend of mine who worked for the FBI. He told me that his friend had used the company acquired by Seagate Recovery Systems extensively and that they had a great track record. What did I have to lose, other than both my kids’ lives on film? Every moment of their lives –from before they were born until July 15, 2007– was on this defunct piece of hardware.

I am fortunate enough to live near your recovery center and took it to them with my 18 month on one arm and the hard drive in the other. They told me they would try to get the pictures back but obviously couldn't guarantee me anything. To my surprise, less than 48 hours later I had an email telling me that a technician had been assigned and that they were already working on it! Within 7 business days I had the wonderful news that my family history of nearly 4 1/2 years would be coming back to me!!! I couldn't wait to get my life in pictures back. I hope this never happens to anyone because the feeling of possibly never seeing precious images of my kids again was daunting.

Because of Seagate Recovery Systems, I will have these moments and can continue to share them with my family and friends. Thank you Seagate for giving me back a huge part of my life! I have been and will continue to recommend you to everyone!!!!!

This recovery is for some friends.   I'm actually a consultant (which is why I had, was restoring to a new hard drive for them when it went bad), and have to say not only am I impressed but would not hesitate to use again if and when the need occurs both personally and professionally.
